The Irish Life and Permanent Group graduate programme is a two year development programme. It aims to provide high calibre graduates with a stimulating and engaging development package. Our focus is on equipping you with the appropriate level of knowledge and challenge at each stage of your development to enable you to drive your career forward with the group.
What does the IL&P graduate programme offer?
The programme involves a range of learning & development methods to support graduates to reach their potential:
Mentoring - designed to provide a valuable opportunity to access structured 1:1 support from senior and experienced managers to aid your development.
Workshops – a series of interactive workshops providing you with the best tools and techniques.
Rotations – offer significant experience and exposure across the group. Throughout the 2 year programme you will undergo 4 rotations each lasting 9 months.
CEO series – a series of interactive workshops with Business CEOs designed to give a broader and strategic understanding of the various group businesses
Group projects - an opportunity to apply your learning to real life business critical projects. Projects provide significant exposure and interaction with the senior management team.
Line Manager support – ongoing development conversations and coaching from your Line Manager to support your development.
Development centres – participating in development centres throughout the programme will help you evaluate your progress. This will also offer insights into your strengths and areas for development and the steps you can take to progress and manage your career going forward.
The programme is focused on developing skills across a broad range of areas including; communicating and influencing, career planning and development, strategic business planning, team effectiveness, leadership, innovation and change and project management.
